Fota Wildlife
On 7th March, our TY class went to Fota Wildlife park in Cork. We left our school at 7.15 and reached Cork at around 10.00. The first thing we did was play a game called sheepdog. In this game one person is the Sheppard and the rest of the group are the sheep and the Sheppard has to get the sheep into a box. It was confusing but it was fun. Afterwards we went into another room and played a game where we had to describe a animal to the person next to us and the person at the end had to make it out of plastic blocks. Afterwards, we had to make a shape out of wooden blocks. This was better than sheepdog and making the animal. Afterwards we were split into two groups and we were given a short tour. Afterwards, we stopped and got lunch. After lunch, we were shown the rest of the zoo. I think my favorite animal was the penguins or the flamingos. Afterwards, we were given a short demonstration about animals and after that we went back on the bus and went to Mahon point shopping center. We reached Portumna at 6 or 7 o clock. This was definitely one of the best things we did in TY and I wouldn't mind going again.
